On Wednesday, EA unveiled the first information about NHL 25, including the cover stars, the release window, and the new features that players can anticipate. The most notable of the new features is a brand-new system called “Ice-Q,” which EA describes as a complete redesign of NHL games. How players move on the ice has been much improved, enabling them to do things like walk the blue line and square up to the puck carrier. The AI and emotions have also been improved. A new “Grudge Match System” adds unique X-Factors to heighten the drama and track the history of…
Season of Discovery is a brand-new event Blizzard introduced to World of Warcraft: Classic last year. With a unique twist, the game mode allowed players to experience a traditional MMORPG that was released in 2004. To change their characters into bizarre new types like shaman tanks or mage healers, players would be able to gather “runes.” Some dungeons were transformed into bigger, more difficult raids with new bosses and new loot, and there were rumored to be additional missions and other secrets scattered across the realm. It was a thrilling occasion that depended on surprise and, as the name said,…

Developer Stoic of The Banner Saga was planning to release Towerborne on Xbox and PC simultaneously, right into the first day of Game Pass. However, a new trailer for Towerborne appears below, indicating that it is now a “limited-time exclusive on Steam.” That implies that on September 10, Towerborne will launch on Steam Early Access. Microsoft announced in an…
When I started the opening quest of Monster Hunter Wilds, the first thing that struck me was how quickly I became engrossed in the game’s narrative—especially because my character and my Palico companion now had voice acting. Sadly, the second problem was how badly this early preview build performed after I took over. I find Wilds quite exciting as it brings back my favorite aspects of Monster Hunter World and incorporates the excitement of Monster Hunter Rise’s improved mobility. In the few missions I played, it felt like a perfect mix between the two. I regret that its unrefined, in-development…
Ustwo Games revealed five years ago that it was working on the third installment of the highly regarded puzzle series, Monument Valley. It will launch exclusively on Netflix Games on December 10, 2024, following a lengthy period of anticipation. Today during Opening Night Live, a trailer for Monument Valley 3 gave us our first proper look. It has a new small protagonist who is holding a lantern, making it both familiar and unique. As previously, the player manipulates scenes reminiscent of M.C. Escher with the touchscreen to build pathways for the character to advance. Monument Valley 3 appears to employ…

Several games include large stakes, international military activities, and the balance of power in the world. However, if we swap out their military armor and automatic weapons for flying brooms and pointed hats, we are entering the realm of “things you do not see daily.” The inventive setting of Tactical Breach Wizards complements its sharp and humorous script nicely. Its quips tickled my funny bone more than the actual tactics in its main campaign did, but the little encounters kept up a fast-paced, captivating tempo that quickly made hours of my time disappear beneath a magic handkerchief. All things considered,…
