Following last year’s game’s overwhelming success, EA Sports has announced that College Football 26 will be available this summer.
The impending sequel was revealed via the series’ X/Twitter account. It started with, “We said this place will be packed again,” “We appreciate the presence of our athletes, players, and supporters in the house. Let’s maintain the initial enthusiasm until College Football 26 is out this summer.
EA Sports did not disclose the cover stars, a particular release date, and other details; but, since College Football 25 was released in July of last year, fans will probably soon learn more.
We said that this venue will be packed once more; we are grateful to our athletes, players, and supporters for packing the house.
Let us maintain that initial enthusiasm until College Football 26 is released this summer.
As the first franchise to enter the market in eleven years, it was an immediate hit, attracting up to 700,000 players on its first day of early access and an incredible 2.2 million by the end.
Later, it surpassed even the professional league Madden NFL franchise in terms of dollar sales to close 2024 as the best-selling sports video game in American history.
“College Football 25 kills the on-field action with a dynamic feel, amazing graphics, and loads of clever gameplay adjustments,” Gamexta wrote in its 7/10 review. But a lot of the off-field content feels incomplete, with UI problems and basic modes that appear to be awaiting a redesign for the upcoming season.
