The Metaphor: ReFantazio Prologue Demo may be downloaded now on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, according to creator Atlus.

The Xbox Series X demo is already accessible, and it will shortly be available on the PC and PlayStation 5 at 9 a.m. Pacific, noon Eastern, and 5 p.m. UK. It includes a sizable portion of the next fantasy role-playing game, and when it launches on October 11th, your progress will be transferred to the main game.

“Before the game launches on October 11, players can get a head start on their adventure by exploring social components, experiencing part of the early game narrative, and learning about the city in the Prologue Demo,” according to Atlus.

The first four dungeons, the opportunity to unlock seven of the more than 40 classes, known as Archetypes, an introduction to six followers, party members that assist the player, and more are all included in the demo.

The official summary states, “Metaphor: ReFantazio is an all-new fantasy RPG from the creative brains of Persona 3, 4, and 5.” “In a dangerous race for the throne, players will script their destiny and overcome fear as they enter a magical realm unlike any other.”

Metaphor: According to Gamexta’s preview of the game, ReFantazio is a “brilliant development” of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei. “Metaphor ReFantazio is obviously adopting the Persona formula — but it is doing so for something seemingly bigger in scope from both a gameplay and storytelling perspective,” we said, referring to everything from each character’s magical awakening and all the RPG mechanics it opens to the social sim elements that feed into how you interact with the world.
