Official Coffee and Hot Sauce Line for Persona 5

Thanks to an official coffee line, Persona 5 fans may now think they are at the game’s renowned Café Leblanc in real life.

Publisher Atlus revealed a partnership with Jade City Foods to provide a range of spicy sauces inspired by the Persona 5 universe in addition to three distinct coffee roasts.

The names of the main characters’ schools are represented by the names of three different roasts: Shujin Academy, a light roast with notes of cherry and chocolate, Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a medium roast with boldness and fruit acidity, and Café Leblanc, a dark roast with notes of chocolate and caramel that is named after, well, Café Leblanc.

The protagonist Joker resides in the cafe’s attic, where he also frequently hangs out with his pals. In Persona 5, players can even spend time brewing coffee here to receive special stat increases in the game’s traditional role-playing aspect.

Fans may buy a 12-oz bag of coffee for $20 or all three for $50. Regarding the spicy sauce line, a bottle costs $18 and the collection as a whole costs $90. These two have names derived from Persona 5: Agi, Agidyne, and Agilao are called after three tiers of fire spells, whereas Crow, Joker, and Violet are named after certain characters.

More than 10 million copies of the Persona 5 series have been sold since the release of the first game in 2016. This solely counts Persona 5 games, including Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Tactica, and Persona 5: Dancing in the Starlight, ignoring other Persona brand titles like Persona 3 Reload and Persona 4.

Persona 5’s base version was the last mainstream Persona game that Atlus released, and Persona 6 has not yet been announced. Fans have only been given a hint about a green color motif for the upcoming game—a slightly strange and extremely faint one at that—so far.
