Elden Ring modder transforms the game into Bloodborne by adding trick weapons, parrying guns, fast movement, a continuous night, and other creepy elements.

The Graceborne: Bloodborne Inspired Overhaul was made by Nexus Mods user Noctis, according to GamesRadar. The mod’s name combines Bloodborne with Elden Ring’s “grace.” “Elden Ring’s main game into a more dark and sinister experience” is the stated goal of the mod, which is “still in its infancy.”

Modders are asked to assist Noctis in creating the mod, since “undertaking Graceborne’s entire scale alone would simply be impossible,” according to a video that the developer just posted on YouTube. Graceborne, despite this, already possesses 22 sets of armor, 35 weapons, 17 trick weapons, and five guns.

The mod seeks to replicate the whole gothic horror atmosphere, not only the weapons and armor that were inspired by Bloodborne. This is not a Bloodborne recreation taking place inside Elden Ring; rather, it is a Bloodborne filter.

The alpha is currently available for download, along with several armor and weapon parts. According to Noctis, gameplay enhancements include “gun parrying, no equipment load, quick steps when locked on, perma-night, Bloodborne-style healing,” and more. “It also updates the appearance of multiple bosses and mobs to match the overhaul’s design.”

Fans may not have a better opportunity to experience Bloodborne on PC than this, as the PlayStation 4 exclusive has yet to join the ranks of other Sony games in making the transition. Before, modders put a lot of effort into recreating the experience, even going so far as to add Bloodborne models and weaponry to Lies of P.

Naturally, Elden Ring is still quite popular on its own; Gamexta gave both the original game and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion 10/10 ratings. Fans are curious about what will happen next after it was released in June 2024 and FromSoftware said it would be the only expansion for Elden Ring.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the president of the company, has stated that Elden Ring is not his ideal role-playing game, but he has not revealed anything yet.
