Favorite MySims from the Wii and Nintendo DS May Soon Arrive on the Nintendo Switch

MySims, a beloved game for the Nintendo Wii and DS, is heading to the Nintendo Switch.

A “remaster of MySims of sorts” is reportedly headed to Nintendo’s current hardware sometime in 2024, according to Kotaku, however, they were unable to confirm if the purportedly leaked November 19 release date is accurate.

The game, which debuted on the Nintendo Wii in 2007, was first made available on the Nintendo Switch, as ResetEra fans first discovered. If this version is authentic, it is unknown if it is a complete remake, a remaster, or something in between.

As a follow-up to Electronic Arts‘ flagship life simulation game, The Sims, players of MySims are tasked with reconstructing a run-down town, drawing in newcomers, and furnishing it to ensure everyone is content. Later on, it was released for the Nintendo DS, where it gave rise to a plethora of other games such as MySims Kingdom, Party, Racing, Agents, and Skyheroes.

Since the last of these was launched in 2010, it has been 14 years since EA released a MySims game. However, given The Sims 4 is already ten years old and The Sims 5 is not short, it may have wished to breathe new life into the franchise while it waited.

The Sims series, which is available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and pretty much every other platform save Nintendo console, would debut on the Nintendo Switch with MySims.
