The release date of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is set for October 31, 2024. Indeed, it is Halloween.

The action-adventure remaster from Shinji Mikami (God Hand, Resident Evil) and Suda51 (No More Heroes, Killer7) will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The game Shadows of the Damned was created by Grasshopper Manufacturing, led by Goichi “Suda51” Suda, and debuted initially on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. The movie stars Garcia Hotspur as the demon hunter, who fights his way through Hell with his sidekick Johnson the Skull to save his girlfriend from Fleming, the demon king of Hell.

The original Hella is enhanced with additional outfits, an additional Game+ Mode, and support for 60 frames per second/4K. On July 31, producer Shinji Mikami and Suda51 will be featured in a Grasshopper Direct showcase.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered new features:

New Costumes: Placa Garcia, Ocho Corazones, Demonio Garcia, and Kamikaze Garcia are the four new costumes available in addition to Garcia’s classic “Purple Reign” jacket.
New Game+ Mode is now included: The Hella Remastered edition has a New Game+ mode, a feature that has been requested since the game’s initial release! This mode rolls your weapons and upgrades over from your prior gameplay into a new game, jam-packing your replays with hella power.
60fps/4K Support: Hell has never looked so gorgeous. With support for resolutions up to 4K, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered delivers a fluid 60 frames per second experience that allows you to admire every bone piece and blood splash.
