The president of WolfEye Studios and co-founder of Arkane Studios, Raphaël Colantonio, has stated that fans of Prey and Dishonored “will be satisfied” with the upcoming game from his new studio.
After co-creating Dishonored and directing Prey, Colantonio left Arkane in 2017. He teased the upcoming game from WolfEye Studios on X/Twitter, stating that “fans of the past first-person games I was associated with (Dishonored and Prey) will be satisfied” with it. In a few days, he said, “We will share a bit more about our upcoming game.”
Colantonio left Arkane Austin in 2019, and he later founded WolfEye Studios. Weird West, the third-person dark fantasy adventure game developed by the studio, was well received when it was released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in 2022.
In a few days, we will share some additional details about our future game. Fans of Dishonored and Prey, the previous first-person video games I worked on, will be pleased.

Weird West “more than lives up to its name in all the right ways,” according to our 8/10 review on IGN, which also highlighted some of the immersive sim features that Arkane Studios was well-known for.
The next game, which looks to be a throwback first-person sci-fi role-playing game, looks to have the studio even more dependent on its Arkane roots. We are not yet showing to the public or the media; we are only exhibiting to our industry partners, such as publishers. Can not wait though,” Colantonio commented in a later post.
Dishonored 3 was included on an antiquated list of planned Bethesda games that surfaced during Microsoft’s protracted legal battle with the Federal Trade Commission in 2023, suggesting that a continuation of the first game may also be released in the upcoming years. In light of the recent major layoffs at Xbox, which included the full closure of Arkane Austin, it is uncertain how solid those plans still are.
