Overwatch’s Lúcioball is already being compared to Marvel Rivals’ Spring Festival event.

The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival event, which features a soccer game style that may look similar to users of Overwatch and Rocket League, as well as a few new hero skins, has been released by NetEase Games.

The Clash of Dancing Lions game mode and the Fortune & Colors Gallery Card customization event will launch on January 23 at 9 am UTC, according to the latest update trailer released by the developers behind the popular hero shooter game.

First of all, rather than concentrating on a single hero, the limited-time mode appears to highlight at least three characters: Star-Lord, Iron Fist, and Black Widow. Players can be seen lugging the soccer ball to the goal and around the competition, giving the impression that it is the same size as a typical real-world ball. Overwatch and Marvel Rivals already have a lot in common, but until the Marvel event is released in a few days, it will be difficult to determine how much Clash of Dancing Lions and Lúcioball are alike.

Players can earn rewards for completing activities during the Marvel Rivals Spring Festival event, such as the Star-Lord Lion’s Mane costume from the teaser. Although more specifics are still unknown, NetEase informs players that as part of the event, they will be able to obtain additional rewards including a nameplate, spray, and more. Although the new trailer also included the Iron Fist Lion’s Gaze and Black Widow Lion’s Heartbeat outfits, the creators simply informed fans that the three skins will be available in-game “in the coming weeks.”

In other Marvel Rivals news, players are still looking forward to Marvel’s Spider-Man tie-in skin planned to debut later this month. Many members of the community are still debating the project’s purported bot issue and its potential implications for the competitive Marvel video game’s future. Check out all of the current Marvel Rivals codes here for additional information on NetEase’s well-liked hero shooter.
