Jurassic World Evolution 3 will see the arrival of the Megalodon. One of the largest shark species ever found, the Megalodon lived in prehistoric oceans around 20 million years ago. It was up to 15 meters long, weighed up to 50 tons, and had — gulp — more than 270 teeth.

Naturally, the Megalodon is more familiar to you as The Meg, the massive shark that Jason Statham battles in the 2018 blockbuster movie.

“Frontier hinted that visitors will naturally be attracted to lagoons where the Megalodon resides, requiring vast waters to showcase its striking silhouette. By adding a shark feeder, park managers can ensure this massive prehistoric predator is well-fed, while thrilling audiences with breathtaking moments as it bursts from the water to snatch its prey.”

Available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, Jurassic World Evolution 3 will premiere on October 21, 2025. The basic and Deluxe editions will retail for $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 and $74.99 / €74.99 / £64.99, respectively. In this third version of Frontier’s beloved management simulation, you are in charge of your own dinosaur park and must work to maintain the happiness and well-being of both the visitors and the displays.

Additionally, we’ve been informed that The Meg occasionally develops a fondness for its own children, so perhaps that’s something to consider when planning your park.

The official trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 3 was released throughout the summer; however, the usage of generative AI was criticized by fans, overshadowing the premiere. Frontier has since pledged to refrain from utilizing any AI resources.
