When Dead Rising was first published as an Xbox 360 exclusive back in 2006, it took a different approach to zombie-slaying action than its Capcom brother Resident Evil. About four years after its initial release, id Software revealed during today’s QuakeCon 2024 broadcast that DOOM Eternal will finally receive official mod support. The option to choose to enable mod support through Steam’s beta branch is now available in DOOM Eternal Update 6.66 Rev. 3, per a post on Bethesda’s Slayers Club blog.
