A world premiere teaser trailer for Arc System Works‘ new Guilty Gear anime, Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, was revealed during the Anime Expo. The show is scheduled to air sometime in 2019.
SANZIGEN is animating the 3D computer-generated anime version of the fighting game Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Riders. Although the teaser revealed very nothing in terms of plot, the trailer does feature the main characters of the venerable combat game, Sin Kiske and Sol Badguy. The pair faces up against an enigmatic new adversary dubbed Unika in the teaser, who has a vengeance against Gears. The style of the trailer is reminiscent of the cutscenes in the game.
One of the most visually striking anime fighters ever made makes Guilty Gear stand out above other fighting game franchises. As a result, Guilty Gear is known for having one of the most difficult plotlines to follow.
