After searching the map for Deviations to aid them in surviving a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Human players discover that one uncommon collectible—Hug-in-a-Bowl—is malfunctioning.
Hug-in-a-Bowl is hard to find. Many have been misled into thinking it has a low drop rate, even though some people had luck locating it during beta periods. Even diligent people have had difficulty finding it at its spawning sites in Broken Delta and Iron River.
For online games like Once Human, rare things are nothing new, but this specific Deviation has gotten enough negative feedback from players to become a topic of discussion in the Steam and Discord groups. Since the release of Once Human 1.0 earlier this month, there has been a problem, although it appears that a technical glitch is preventing more players from accessing it. We inquired about Hug-in-a-Bowl and its rarity from Once Human developer Starry Studio. The developers attested to the Deviation’s bugs, and they promised that a patch would be released soon.
Once Human stated, “The crew finished the check and discovered the spawn is bugged!” “They will repair it and include it to their list of modifications for the next patch.”
We do not know exactly when Starry will be able to address the Hug-in-a-Bowl glitch, but we do know that a significant update is scheduled to be released in September. Last week, the studio gave fans a sneak peek at what is coming up, revealing new PvP and PvE scenarios, new map improvements, and more. As with any patch, Starry is expected to address a plethora of issues that players have been seeing; hopefully, this will also include a fix for Hug-in-a-Bowl.
Since its release a few weeks ago, Once Human has grown to be a PC player favorite. We enjoyed it enough at launch to award it an 8 out of 10, so we are eager to see where it goes. “Once Human mixes some of the best and oddest creature designs of the year with basic yet solid construction and upgrading to produce a highly pleasant survival-crafting experience,” we stated.
