The VR mode for Resident Evil Village will be available

The virtual reality mode for Resident Evil Village will become available as free DLC on February 22, the same day that the PlayStation VR2 goes live.

As a result, if you also own the PlayStation VR2, you can download and play the update for free if you own the original Resident Evil Village for PlayStation 5.

The VR mode, which will support Resident Evil Village’s entire campaign, was first announced in June. Capcom’s official synopsis states, “Ethan Winters’ journey takes full advantage of the advanced features of the headset, delivering a deeper and more captivating adventure with PlayStation VR2.”

“Resident Evil Village is now more intense and realistic than ever thanks to VR Mode, which makes use of the 4K HDR display, eye tracking, and 3D audio.

“Prepare to feel truly dwarfed by the larger-than-life characters and creatures that lurk within,” says the virtual reality guide, “soak in the richly detailed atmosphere of the village, including the ornate chambers of Castle Dumitrescu.”

IGN stated in our preview of the game: Even though it has been out for well over a year, Resident Evil Village succeeds in educating players about the PS VR2’s capabilities. Fans of Resident Evil Village will be thrilled to see their favorite show return to a genre in which it excels.
