For those who own a Nintendo Switch 2, this is the first of many months in which we will analyze the issues affecting Nintendo’s potent new hybrid system.
Naturally, June set the standard high when it came to the console’s launch, selling out almost immediately, and bringing a plethora of third-party games, Switch 2 Editions of popular games like Tears of the Kingdom, and even a brand-new Mario Kart.
July isn’t slowing down, though. With significant first-party debuts and other surprises, early adopters are already anticipating another successful month.
Overview of Switch 2 Games in July 2025
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered – July 11
- Donkey Kong Bananza – July 17

That concludes our July Nintendo Switch 2 coverage. Along with even more significant releases later in the year, such as Borderlands 4 in September, Pokemon Legends: Z-A in October, and hopefully a confirmed release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond sooner rather than later, we can anticipate Madden NFL 25, Drag x Drive, and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar in August.
